Jon Rucker
Licensed Professional Counselor
As your counselor, Jon brings a professional, supportive and safe environment where you can be yourself. His passion for counseling comes from a hope to see people experience real change and growth in their personal lives and relationships through the aligning of our lives to their God-given design.
Jon values the institutions of family, marriage and faith as cornerstones of human flourishing and draws from the riches of the Christian tradition to understand the complexity of human nature, problems and behavior. Jon draws from a model of therapy known as “Christian Psychology” which converges clinical psychology, theology and philosophy, along with spiritual formation and soul-care into therapeutic treatment that begins with a Christian worldview.
Jon specializes in helping clients (couples, men, teens and pre-teens) who are struggling with depression, anxiety, anger, spiritual confusion, grief and self-worth along with many other issues. Jon also serves couples and families who are facing marriage and relationship difficulties caused by affairs, arguments, communication issues and destructive cycles of conflict.
Jon is a graduate of John Brown University and Licensed Professional Counselor in both Arkansas and Missouri. He is co-founder of Vineyard Family Counseling and serves clients in-person and online.
