CASSIDY RUCKER
Licensed Professional Counselor
As your counselor, Cassidy focuses on creating a warm and trusted environment. With this foundation she will lead you in working together to bring growth and change in your life. Her hope for counseling is that it will produce in each person an alignment with God’s design that will bring true freedom and health no matter what challenges you are facing.
Cassidy draws from a model of therapy known as “Christian Psychology” which converges clinical psychology, theology and philosophy, along with spiritual formation and soul-care into therapeutic treatment that begins with a Christian worldview. She seeks to address underlying patterns that cause division in how we’re living and what we value most. She takes a holistic perspective seeing that our mental/emotional wellbeing is tied with our physical health and our spiritual formation.
Cassidy works with adolescents, adult women, and families. She specializes in helping those struggling with depression, anxiety, emotional regulation, spiritual growth, grief, adoption, and many other issues. She specifically serves those struggling with faith-related challenges including doubt, confusion, apathy, guilt, perfectionism, people pleasing, etc. Cassidy also works with families to increase healthy communication and cohesion within the family unit.
Cassidy earned a Master’s of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis in Community Counseling from John Brown University. She brings over a decade of counseling experience and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Arkansas and Missouri. She is co-founder of Vineyard Family Counseling and serves clients online.
